Environmental preservation and protection are at the very essence of Dalkia services. With this objective in mind, the company created the Environmental Management System (EMS).

Preservation of natural resources

The preservation of natural resources begins with the choice of the best energy source for each installation. By assessing the technical and economic context of the developments, it is possible to identify the best alternatives and prioritize renewable sources.

To help its clients preserve natural resources, Dalkia operates on different fronts:

  • As a buyer of energy, it follows market oscillations, constantly seeking the best opportunities;
  • Based on the great diversity of the clients served and installations managed, Dalkia ensures a safe supply, whether in terms of volume or price;
  • To learn about and operate with different sources, Dalkia offers its clients the possibility of using different types of fuel together, allowing for more effective, and in the case of renewable sources, more sustainable management.

With technical optimization, investments in technology and correct equipment operation and maintenance, it is possible to improve the performance of the installations and reduce energy consumption.

To meet these objectives, Dalkia offers its clients the following solutions:

  • Cogeneration of energy, guaranteeing the availability of the heat and electricity necessary for operation;
  • Reduction of different types of waste by installing equipment, such as desulfurization, filters, NOx burners, etc;
  • Measures designed to combat climate change, with operations in the CO2 emission authorization market or with energy savings certificate mechanisms.
